Welcome to The Point. There’s lots of social space that we hope you’ll use and enjoy.
Here’s a quick start guide to using the space before you get going:

The TV Lounges 1 & 2 are available for all registered residents whom have read The General House Rules
The TV Lounges have an entry system via the resident’s fob
The TV Lounges are for the enjoyment of all residents on a bookable basis
Private bookings for this space can be made – please speak to the Customer Service team for more information or to book the space
The TV Lounges are open Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00 and Saturday to Sunday 08:00 to 17:00 (and will be open from 06:00 to 23:00 as The Point fills up)
Residents can bring up to two guests to the TV Lounges at any one time (from the same household during Covid-19) – please check in with the Customer Service team on arrival
Guests must always be accompanied by a resident
Any equipment within the TV Lounges should be operated by a member of the team and we’re happy to help so please speak to the Customer Service team if any adjustments are needed
In the event of a fire emergency – please press the red manual call point located in the stairwell across the hall opposite the TV Lounges. Walk out of the building, down the stairwell and to the Assembly point located on Denburn pavement
The first aid box can be found in the entrance hallway to the TV Lounges and Studio
Food and drinks are permitted in the TV Lounges, but please ensure you do not leave any rubbish behind you and tell us about any spillages straight away so we can help
To get connected to Wi-Fi please search ‘The Point Public WiFi’ and the password is ‘Riverdees7458’
The music system is a set of Sonos speakers which are on order and will be installed soon
The TV remote is managed by the Customer Services team and this will be made available to you at the time of your booking slot for use during your booking
There’s an X-Box and other Games consoles for you to use under private bookings so please book this online under the TV Lounges
Sky has been fitted to this space so you can watch Sky movies as part of the scheduled events within the TV Lounges or during a private booking
